These Terms of Use (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) and Speakeasy Barber Lounge (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of our website, online booking systems, mobile experiences, digital communications, in-shop services, artificial intelligence tools, and any related software, applications, or automated technologies (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing, browsing, booking, purchasing, communicating, or otherwise using any portion of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of the Services.

1. Eligibility and Legal Capacity

You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to use the Services or book appointments. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you:

Are at least eighteen (18) years of age

Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements

Are using the Services for lawful purposes

If you use the Services on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.

1.1 Speakeasy Barber Lounge

When you opt in, you’ll receive appointment confirmations, booking updates, and friendly reminders, plus occasional exclusive offers and announcements from Speakeasy Barber Lounge. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time.

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to 3038477748. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages

As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive varying messages per month. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

2. Description and Scope of Services

Speakeasy Barber Lounge is a professional grooming establishment offering services including, but not limited to, haircuts, razor services, beard grooming, hot towel treatments, styling, and related grooming services.

Services may be performed by licensed barbers, apprentices under supervision, or other authorized personnel.

All Services are subject to availability, professional discretion, and operational capacity. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, refuse, or discontinue any Service or feature at any time without notice.

3. User Accounts, Booking, and Information Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when booking appointments or communicating with us.

You are solely responsible for:

Maintaining accurate contact information

Reviewing confirmations and reminders

Ensuring your availability at scheduled times

We are not responsible for losses or issues caused by inaccurate information provided by you.

4. Appointment Scheduling, Cancellations, and No-Shows

To protect our time and that of other clients:

Cancellations or reschedules must occur at least three (3) hours before the scheduled appointment.

Arrivals more than five (5) minutes late may be considered a no-show.

First no-show may receive a courtesy waiver.

Repeated no-shows may be charged one hundred percent (100%) of the service price.

Late arrivals may result in shortened or modified services.

We reserve the right to restrict or block future bookings for habitual no-shows.

5. Pricing, Taxes, and Payments

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars and do not include applicable taxes unless stated.

Speakeasy Barber Lounge is a cashless establishment.

By booking, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for:

Taxes

No-show fees

Add-ons or adjustments

Prices may change at any time without notice.

6. Refunds, Credits, and Adjustments

Refunds or credits are issued at management’s sole discretion.

No refunds are provided for completed services based solely on personal preference.

If your barber is more than ten (10) minutes late, you may be eligible for a twenty percent (20%) discount.

7. Promotions, Discounts, and Loyalty Programs

Speakeasy Barber Lounge may offer promotions, discounts, loyalty programs, or referral incentives.

All promotions:

Have no cash value

Are non-transferable

May be modified or discontinued at any time

May not be combined unless stated

We reserve the right to revoke promotions for abuse or fraud.

8. Electronic Communications and Consent

By providing your phone number or email address, you consent to receive:

Appointment confirmations

Reminders

Service updates

Marketing communications

You may opt out at any time. Message and data rates may apply.

9. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Technologies

We use AI-powered and automated systems to assist with scheduling, messaging, and support.

You acknowledge that:

Automated responses may contain errors

Systems may experience downtime

AI does not replace human judgment

We are not liable for automated inaccuracies.

10. Health and Safety Disclosure

You are responsible for informing your barber of any medical conditions, allergies, skin sensitivities, or injuries before receiving services.

We are not responsible for adverse reactions caused by undisclosed conditions.

11. Client Conduct and Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who engages in:

Harassment

Abusive language

Threatening behavior

Intoxication

Unsafe or illegal activity

No refunds will be issued for refusals based on misconduct.

12. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on our website and platforms, including text, images, logos, and branding, is the exclusive property of Speakeasy Barber Lounge.

Unauthorized use is prohibited.

13. Third-Party Services and Integrations

We may integrate with third-party platforms for booking, payments, messaging, and analytics.

We are not responsible for the practices or outages of third parties.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Speakeasy Barber Lounge shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the service giving rise to the claim.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Speakeasy Barber Lounge from any claims arising out of your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.

17. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for failures or delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

18. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Services at our discretion.

19. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
